Manchester United winger Nani is on his way to Inter Milan on loan till the end of the season, according to the Metro.

The report states that the Portuguese international has agreed a deal following an approach by the Serie A outfit with only an agreement pending between the two clubs as Friday's 11pm GMT transfer deadline looms overhead.

United reportedly have no hesitations in allowing the winger to make the switch to San Siro, with a view to making the switch to Italy permanent in the summer.

The 27-year-old signed a new five-year-deal lasts summer, which will keep him at Old Trafford till 2018. But lack of first team opportunities under David Moyes has seen him make only seven starts in all competitions this season.

The Glaswegian has Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia and youngster Adnan Januzaj as his preferred options in the wide role. The winger is currently out with a hamstring injury which has seen him out of action since December.

The Red Devils were reported to be considering a move for Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin, who is also linked to Chelsea in the ongoing transfer window. Moyes could utilise this opportunity to prize away the Colombian international from the Italian giants.

Moyes has already begun revamping his squad by offloading fringe players out of the club. Anderson has been sent on loan to Fiorentina while Wilfried Zaha will join Cardiff City on loan alongside Fabio Da Silva who is poised to make a permanent move to the Welsh club in the ongoing transfer window.

The 50-year-old has already signed Juan Mata this month from the west London club for a club-record fee of £37.1m and the former Everton manager has hinted that it is just the beginning of his plans to add quality players to bolster his squad.

Javier Hernandez too is reportedly looking to leave the Premier League champions due to lack of first team opportunities under the Scotsman this season.

Following their 2-0 win in the midweek clash in the league against Cardiff, the Red Devils are currently seventh in the table with 40 points from 23 matches. Their next opponents are Stoke City in the league fixture scheduled for Saturday.
