Microsoft Lumia 435 goes on sale in the UK: SIM-free and unlocked model costs £70
Microsoft's first 400 series Lumia smartphone, the Lumia 435, is now on sale in the UK.
Unveiled in January alongside the Lumia 532, the Lumia 435 has already been rolled out to key markets in Europe, APAC and IMEA.
Available in both single and dual SIM variants, the new Lumia handset comes in various colours such as bright green, bright orange, white and black.
Amazon UK is first among online retailers to confirm the availability of the Lumia 435 SIM-free unlocked variant which costs £66.92.
The new Lumia is also available for purchase via Unlocked Mobile, which is selling it at a suggested retail price of £74.98.
Carphone Warehouse has stocks of the smartphone, and the pre-order would be delivered on 2 March. The green model of the Lumia 435 is exclusive at Carphone Warehouse.
Prospective buyers can purchase the SIM-free smartphone, priced at £69.99 or, via "Pay Monthly" deals on contracts with carrier networks such as Talkmobile, O2 and Vodafone starting at £7.50 per month.
Clove UK customers can place pre-order for the unlocked Lumia 435 priced at £85. The first stock is due on 1 March. Online retailer, Expansys has confirmed it will stock the smartphone, but is yet to reveal the pricing.
