Canadian actress Shenae Grimes has responded to Miley Cyrus' new Wrecking Ball music video.

In the video that lasts for four minutes, the Hannah Montana star has barely left anything for viewers' imagination after swinging naked on a Wrecking Ball. In the clip, Cyrus is also seen tearing up in a couple of scenes while clothed in white.

The 23-year-old 90210 star took to Twitter to share her view on the video.

"WTF is up with Miley's new music video?" she tweeted, adding, "I mean, I don't know the girl but if I did I'd demand she bath twice, put some clothes on and give her a big hug...looks like she needs it."

Grimes' husband, British model Josh Beech also posted a review of Wrecking Ball on the couple's shared website, Two Halves blog.

"Sledge hammer licking, naked on a wrecking ball and what seems to be a camel toe.... Pretty much sums up most 20 somethings saturday nights out doesn't it!!!!!!???????," he wrote, adding, "Miley's got a new video and to be honest I like the song. The video is maybe a bit unnecessary considering her fans are aged between 12 and 18 but whatever floats your boat i guess."

However, Grimes soon clarified her tweets, writing, "Chat to banter about em all, let's just keep the death threats to a minimum folks, actually a big Miley music and style fan myself! She's Beautiful and talented but there's such thing as too much with such a young demo isn't there? Tell us what you think! Wanna hear it all! Xx"

Meanwhile, Cyrus shared the news that her video broke the VEVO record for most views in 24 hours.

"Y'all did went so above and beyond with wrecking ball :) I love you so much and thank you for breaking the vevo record!!!" she wrote.
