On 9 November, pastor Dr Myles Munroe died alongside his wife Ruth in a plane crash in the Bahamas.

The couple were among nine passengers aboard a private jet which crashed into a construction crane at a shipyard near Grand Bahama International Airport. The civil aviation authorities are investigating the accident, the cause of which is still not known.

Munroe, who ran Bahamas Faith Ministries with his wife as a co-senior pastor, was a world renowned speaker and best-selling author. He travelled the world training leaders in business, government, education, sports, media, and religion.
