What began as a routine interview turned into a moment that sent conspiracy forums into overdrive. When former US President Barack Obama said 'they're real' in reference to aliens, viewers froze.

Within hours, a self described whistleblower stepped forward with an explosive claim of his own. Not only do extraterrestrials exist, he insists, but a gigantic recovered craft is hidden in Korea and it is too large to ever be moved.

What Obama Said on Record

The comments came during an appearance on The The Brian Tyler Cohen Show. Asked directly whether aliens are real, Obama replied, 'They're real, but I haven't seen them. They're not being kept at Area 51. There's no underground facility, unless there's this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.'

It was the phrase 'they're real' that ricocheted across social media. Many took it as confirmation of alien existence. However, Obama later clarified his meaning on Instagram. He explained that statistically, given the vastness of the universe, the odds are good there is life somewhere. He added that during his presidency he saw no evidence that extraterrestrials had made contact with Earth.

The Whistleblower and the Frozen Room

Despite that clarification, one whistleblower claims Obama's words only scratch the surface. The individual alleges that 50 years ago he was taken by rocket pioneer Wernher von Braun into a refrigerated room deep inside a NASA building at the Goddard Space Flight Center.

There, he says, he saw at least six small pale humanoid bodies preserved in misted glass coffins. He describes heavy insulated coats hanging outside the chamber and frost clinging to the containers. According to his account, these beings were clearly not human.

He further claims the bodies were not stored at Area 51, aligning with Obama's remark that no aliens were kept there. Instead, he alleges the remains were housed near Washington, far from the Nevada desert that has long captured the public imagination.

There is no verified evidence supporting this account, and NASA has never acknowledged such a facility.

The Giant Craft Allegedly Hidden in Korea

The most dramatic claim concerns not bodies but a massive craft. The whistleblower insists a recovered vehicle lies buried in Korea and cannot be relocated due to its sheer size. He initially named North Korea but later corrected himself, saying South Korea, while adding that North Korean authorities are aware and have dug tunnels in an attempt to access it.

No physical proof has been produced. Analysts point out that both North and South Korea are among the most heavily monitored regions in the world. Satellite imagery, seismic sensors and international intelligence networks would likely detect excavation on the scale required to access a giant craft.

Online commentators remain divided. Some argue that the secrecy of North Korea makes verification impossible. Others counter that in such a tightly controlled state, information would struggle to escape. A few suggest that if anything were hidden, it would more likely surface through neighbouring China than from Pyongyang itself.

Obama confirmed that life elsewhere in the universe is statistically likely. He did not confirm alien contact or secret storage facilities. The whistleblower's claims remain unproven and extraordinary.

Yet the combination of a former president's carefully phrased words and a vivid personal testimony has proven irresistible.
