Goth Baddie Pinkchyu Coy About Dating Drake Months After Viral Livestream Appearance in Los Angeles

Goth creator Pinkchyu declined to confirm whether she is dating Drake when questioned in Los Angeles on Tuesday, 22 September.

The exchange followed her appearance on the rapper's viral '20-v-1' dating livestream in August, with their relationship still undefined publicly.

TMZ reported that the pair had spent time together and appeared in a music video. Asked whether she and the Canadian rapper were now 'official', Pinkchyu did not give a clear answer. Their appearances together have drawn attention, but the latest interview offered no confirmation of a relationship.

Pinkchyu Leaves the Drake Question Open

That distinction matters because their first meeting was itself a dating show. Pinkchyu won Drake's '20-v-1' challenge, an online event where her gothic look and their exchange drew attention.

TMZ reported that she persuaded him to bark during the stream. What happened in front of its audience, however, did not establish what the two agreed to afterwards.

In an August interview, Pinkchyu told the outlet that they had not hooked up after the show, although they had talked at the after-party. She was uncertain then about whether they would see one another again.

Two days later, she said she was single, focused on her work and not actively looking for a relationship. Those comments describe her position at the time, rather than answering Tuesday's question. The report also didn't include a statement from Drake defining their relationship.

Pinkchyu and Drake Seen Together Since the Stream

They have met again. In August, a report said that Drake flew Pinkchyu to Toronto and rented Casa Loma for a private date.

The report described a sushi meal at the castle, with staff and security present. It described time spent together, not an announcement from either of them about an ongoing relationship.

Pinkchyu recently appeared alongside Drake in the music video for 'Princess'. In the video, she gives him a gothic makeover before they walk together. The project offered another public connection between them, though scenes filmed for a music video cannot settle a question about their private lives.

Pinkchyu has also spoken about the attention that followed the livestream. She said in August that another musician sent her an audio message barking, but she did not identify him.

In that interview, she said she didn't reply and was focusing on her career. The account helps explain why interest in her connection with Drake has persisted beyond the original show.

The Los Angeles conversation also returned to a promise made during the dating challenge. Pinkchyu previously told TMZ that Drake intended to buy her mother a home and that she needed to choose a listing. At that point, she gave no timetable for a purchase.
