An amazing video in which a Slovenian mountain biker cycles down a near vertical 200ft high dam has gone viral online. The incredible footage shows Primoz Ravnik being lowered on to the dam in Moste, Zirovnica in a harness in order to access the construction's sloped wall. He is shown riding down the near vertical wall before multiple cameras, including a helmet-mounted GoPro, capture the moment his bike slams into the water below.

Adrenaline junkie Ravnik, who has been biking since the age of two, said he performed the stunt because he likes to cycle in unusual environments where he can feel free. Ravnik is a competitive cross-country and downhill biker and trained in a bike park in nearby Vogel.

The video was filmed on 28 August for GoPro's Line of the World contest, which offers a $20,000 (£13,000) grand prize to the contestant who submits the video which is in their words: "Stunning, technical, or just plain rad raw." Since being posted online on 2 September, a video of the stunt has been watched more than 4.5 million times.
