Pusha T Responding to Drake's Comments Following Epstein File Release Debunked
Supposed Instagram stories of Pusha T and Drake calling each other out revealed to be fabricated

A supposed screenshot of rapper Pusha T's Instagram story calling out Drake, whom he has a feud with, for allegedly also being included in the Epstein files, is making the rounds online. However, the screenshot turns out to be fabricated, with the rappers actually making no such claims.
An X account, called the HFR Podcast, shared a supposed screenshot of Pusha T's Instagram story, calling out Drake. In the story, Pusha T, whose real name is Terence LeVarr Thornton, allegedly told Drake not to comment when he himself is part of 'the files,' referring to the Epstein files. Prior to posting the purported screenshot, the account also shared a screenshot of what looked like Drake's Instagram story making a play on Thornton's name in relation to the files.

'Aye Drake, you can't be talking when you're in the files too!!' was the supposed response.
While some have taken the supposed Instagram stories to be true, further evidence proves that the screenshots were fabricated as neither rapper made the post shortly after the reports. The community note on the Drake screenshot has also mentioned that the account who has shared these screenshots is known to peddle misinformation. The account that shared the screenshots also stressed that they are a parody news account and are simply poking fun at the situation.
Pusha T Named in the Epstein Files
This comes as Thornton has been named in the newest batch of documents related to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein by the Justice Department. Alongside Thornton was Jay-Z, and the claims in which they were mentioned came from calls on the FBI's intake reports in October 2019. The callers alleged that Jay-Z and Pusha T were present in an Epstein-linked location but did not directly accuse the two figures of wrongdoing.
The claims were also unverified and no evidence suggests their involvement with Epstein in 2007. There is also no evidence to suggest that the claims warranted an investigation into both rappers. Thornton has maintained no involvement with Epstein, and many have also questioned the credibility of the claims from the 2019 crisis report intake, especially with regards to the timeline of events.
Drake's Own Controversy
The fabricated response to a fake screenshot of Drake's Instagram story also references Drake's own controversies and feuds with other rappers, most notably Kendrick Lamar. Lamar released a diss track, 'Not Like Us,' alleging that Drake was engaging in relations with underage girls, therefore accusing him of being a 'pedophile.' Drake has since sought to sue Lamar and Universal Music Group over the song which ultimately got dismissed.
However, Drake and his legal team are looking to file an appeal against the dismissal of the lawsuit against UMG. Court documents obtained by Rolling Stone revealed that Drake's team argues that Lamar's track as an 'unambiguous matter of fact' labeled him a 'certified pedophile.'
Drake also claimed that UMG 'relentlessly' marketed the song in a misleading way and caused him harm in the process. The allegation by Lamar reportedly has a 'precise' and understood meaning that is 'capable of being proven true or false.' Drake also argued that dismissing this lawsuit could pose dangerous consequences.
