RHOBH season 5
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kim Richards and Brandi Granville Bravo

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5 was difficult for Kim Richards and she finally hit rock bottom when the reality star was arrested for creating a scene last week.

According to reports, Kim may be fired from the show after her drunken arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel. While some suggest that she will be allowed back in the cast, after she gets her alcohol issues under control.

A source close to the cast told Us Weekly, that Kim will have to get herself sober, if she ever wants to play "a full-time part on the show again".

"There's no interest in putting her back on television unless she's addressed her issues. The show didn't trigger her addiction, and her recovery also needs to happen outside of it."

"Kim has had a billion chances from the family. This is so embarrassing," another source told the website. "She's just spiraling out of control, " the insider added.

Also People Magazine reported that since the show just concluded its fifth season, "Bravo are not in daily contact with her ... They're not in negotiations yet even or even thinking of the next season yet. They're not involved in any decision she may or may not make to go to rehab. But there's nothing but the best sentiments for her. They hope she gets the help she needs."

Meanwhile, Brandi Glanville supported her co-star Kim, and blamed the show for her excessive drinking problems.

Glanville told Access Hollywood that the producers are ultimately responsible for setting up the "toxic situations that practically force the women into drinking to survive".

"I can't drink the whole time and show up to these things and function. It's impossible. You see an hour a week, we shoot for three months out of the year," she said.

"I think I was tipsy two times? I think if I had a drinking problem I wouldn't have everything that I have going on [sic]."

"I'm working on my third book, I have a new wine coming out. I have two children," Brandi added.
