Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is interested in Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante. The Los Blancos boss reportedly wants his club to sign the Chelsea player next summer and for that, he is willing to bid £100 million. Kante played an instrumental role in his former club, Leicester City FC's maiden English Premier League title in 2015-16. Since then, Zizou became a huge fan of the Chelsea star.

Earlier this year, the Spanish club showed its interest in buying the midfielder. Reports suggest that Chelsea might consider the transfer of their valued player to Real Madrid, only if selling is an option.

The Sun reports that Zidane asked his Madrid bosses to make serious efforts to close the deal. By the end of the season, he wants the 28-year old Chelsea man in his team.

Kante is indeed one of the best midfielders in the modern football world and is undoubtedly among the biggest assets of the English club. According to Zidane, Kante can play a major role in fulfilling the Frenchman's ambition of Real Madrid reclaiming their European football empire.

It has come to light that Zizou wanted to sign Kante this past summer. However, since the club went all-in to sign Eden Hazard, things got a bit difficult. As of now, their interest in the Chelsea midfielder is intact and the Madrid manager wants to ensure that his bosses back him up with adequate funds to offer the white jersey to Kante.

For two seasons now, Real Madrid has been raiding Chelsea's squad. The Spanish side signed goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Hazard, in successive years, for £35 million and £130 million respectively. Given the recent business relationship between these English and Spanish clubs, it might not be too difficult to seal the transfer deal.

Nevertheless, there are some doubts in the Chelsea camp regarding Kante's transfer. They think Zidane's interest for the Chelsea star is more intense than other Real bosses. In this scenario, the deal might not work out if Zidane ends up leaving the Bernabeu camp next season, given that the Spanish side isn't performing at its best. They only finished 3rd in La Liga for the 2018-19 season. As we speak, the Los Blancos are currently at number 5 of this season's Spanish League table.
