Real Madrid will take on Sevilla in the 2016 Uefa Super Cup at the Lerkendal Stadion, Trondheimon 9 August, Tuesday.
Where to watch live
Kick-off is set for 7:45pm BST. Live coverage of the match will be available on BT Sport 2 and BT Sport 2 HD. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.
The Super Cup is played between the Champions League winners and the Europa winners of the previous season. In the 2015/16 campaign, the Spanish capital clubs Real and Atletico Madrid faced each other in the final and it was the former who went on to win their record 11th European trophy.
It was for the second time in three years the two clubs faced each other in the Champions League final. The match ended in a 1-1 draw even after the extra time and the course of the match was decided by penalties, which was won by Real.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winning penalty and he continued his form in Euro 2016, as he played a key role in helping Portugal win the tournament. However, the former Manchester United star will not be available for Zinedine Zidane for the Uefa Super Cup on Tuesday.
Sevilla, on the other hand, have made it to the Super Cup after winning their third consecutive Europa League last season. The Spanish side came from behind to beat Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool 3-1 in the final in May.
Real won the last time these two sides faced together in the Super Cup. Sevilla will be hoping they can manage to get the better out of the La Liga giants in Trondheimon on Tuesday.
