Revenge Season 3 ended on a high note with a major showdown between Emily Thorne and Victoria Grayson.

The Season 4 of ABC's thriller series may feature Emily finding love again and dealing with the aftermath of Aiden's death. She may also learn that her father has returned from the dead.

Many fans wanted a romantic linkup between Jack and Emily but they might get disappointed with the latest spoiler report.

TVLine reported that a new character will be introduced as Jack's friend in the upcoming season and he will play the love interest of Emily.

"He's a childhood friend of Jack's who has a touch of PTSD from his military days. He decides to make his short-term visit to the Hamptons permanent after something life-changing happens to Jack, then makes fast friends with a number of the locals — including Em," the source told TVLine.

The finale also featured the return of Emily's father David Clarke, who remained dead all through the previous seasons.

While fans remained puzzled about what will be Emily's revenge agenda in Season 4 as she spent all her energy to avenge her father David's downfall and death at the hands of the Grayson family.

However, there are speculations that Emily will continue her revenge journey against Victoria, but this time to avenge the murder of Aiden.

Although she sent mama Grayson to mental asylum in the finale episode of the third season, Victoria might get away from the trap in the upcoming season.

And there are chances that Victoria attacks Emily's peaceful life from behind.

"As Emily is trying to create a new, more positive life for herself, as she tries to move forward, Victoria is going to be coming up behind her," executive producer Aaron Harberts explained Victoria's future moves at the ATX Television Festival.

Show runner Sunil Nayyar has already hinted that the upcoming season will be 'different' from the previous seasons of Revenge.

Revenge Season 4 will premiere on ABC in fall this year.
