Rihanna, who has been called fat in the recent past, has hit back at fat shaming commentators with a video, which is now circulating on the internet.

The clip, shared by The Shade Room, shows the Umbrella singer at a convenience store with her friends as she is grabbing some of her favourite snacks. The 29-year-old songstress can be seen holding a bag of Cheetos and some other snacks.

One of her pals can be heard joking as to how RiRi has junk food on her within two minutes of entering the convenience store. Rihanna turns around at the friend who made the comment and smiles.

"Stop judging her!" another friend of the singer can be heard saying.

"Somebody called me too fat?" RiRi commented on the video, which has been viewed more than 10,000 times.

Rihanna was previously slammed by online trolls for getting "thick" after she shared an image that shows her in a cleavage-baring attire from the red carpet of the premiere of her film Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets in Paris in July.

"She looks fat!!! Why riri? Go on diet," one said on Instagram, while other suggesting that she might be pregnant, "baby on the way".

Rihanna previously slammed fat shaming trolls by sharing a meme featuring Gucci Mane in two different weights. In the 2007 photo, Mane looks out of shape compared to his recent image.

The meme featuring two photos of the Bricks rapper was shared after the songstress was fat shamed by former Barstool Sports writer, Chris "Spags" Spagnuolo, in his article titled Is Rihanna Going To Make Being Fat the Hot New Trend?

Spagnuolo was suspended from his position as a writer a few days after the article was published.
