Where to Watch Live

The game is scheduled to begin at 9pm BST on Sunday. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports 3 HD. Real-time internet updates and the live streaming link are available on ATP's official website.

Overview

Federer made his way into the final with a convincing win over Canadian Milos Raonic. He won the match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. However, the Swiss No 1 is entering his fourth Master Series final of the year, but has failed to taste victory in his previous three.

Federer has had a quiet year in comparison to previous years, and has won just two titles all year despite making the finals at seven different tournaments including the Wimbledon. The former World No 1 will be hoping to end his losing streak in finals this year and lift a trophy ahead of the final Grand Slam of the year at Flushing Meadows.

Meanwhile, his challenger is World No 6 David Ferrer, who has also had a relatively quiet year, having one just one title at Buenos Aires and made just one other final at Hamburg. The Spaniard also came through his semi-final with Julien Benneteau with relative ease, winning 6-3, 6-2. Ferrer will be hoping to end his losing run against the Swiss champion and pick up his second trophy of the year.

Head-to-Head

Federer has never lost to Ferrer and holds a 15-0 record. The pair have clashed eight times in ATP Master Series tournaments and the Swiss maestro has emerged triumphant on every occasion.
