Samsung's Galaxy Note (N7000) users can now update their device with the new SuperNexus 2.0 custom firmware that is reported to turn the Galaxy Note into a Nexus device. This is an Android Open Source Project (AOSP) ROM with all the stock Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) features.

The ROM appears to look like all stock containing plenty of features such as zipaligned APKs, rooted (Super SU), Busybox installed, zero bloatware, Android source code improved and optimised, official Jelly Bean bootanimation and more. IBTimes UK warns users to proceed at their own risk.

Pre-requisites:

  • Make sure that USB driver is installed
  • Enable USB debugging
  • Ensure the device is rooted and has ClockworkMod (CWM) recovery installed
