Two tweets posted on Samsung's Romania Twitter page have accidentally confirmed not just the existence of, but also details regarding, the company's next Nexus handset.

Despite the fact that Samsung is yet to officially confirm the existence of the new Nexus, two tweets appeared on @SamsungMobileRO reading:

"Da, Vratoral Nexus va fi Samsung si va avea Super AMOLED HD. De la Go4it.ro.ly/IRFSUh."

Followed by, ":) Exact cum ati descoperit si voi deja: http: fb.me/QLGZAZol".

In English:

"Yes, Vratoral Nexus will be Samsung AMOLED Super HD. From Go4it.ro.ly/IRFSUh ".

And, ":) Just as you've discovered already: http:fb.me/QLGZAZol".

The news was first spotted and reported by Romanian business paper ZF. The paper reported that the Nexus Prime would house a Super AMOLED HD (1280 x 720) screen and run using the as yet unreleased Android 4.0.

Unfortunately the news cannot necessarily be take as authentic. Engadget reportedly contacted Samsung only to see the tweets promptly disappear. Samsung has since reported that the tweets did not originate from it and that they were posted by an as yet unidentified "outside source".
