Overview

South Africa continued to dazzle as they registered their fourth consecutive victory over Australia, beating them by six wickets on Sunday (9 October).

Kyle Abbott and Tabraiz Shamsi got a chance to shine taking four and three wickets respectively to bowl out the visitors for a meagre 167 runs.

Skipper Faf du Plessis's 69-run knock helped ensure that the Proteas chased the target without any hiccups. South Africa will be looking to inflict a 5-0 whitewash, the first time it would happen in Australia's cricketing history.

South Africa are likely to field the same XI that played on Sunday.

Australia have had a torrid time in the ODI series and on Sunday they put on an abject show to suffer their fourth loss in a row. All-rounder Mitchell Marsh and wicket-keeper Matthew Wade were the only batsmen to put up a fight scoring 50 and 52 respectively.

The bowling has struggled throughout the series with their big guns missing.
