Kick-off is set for 12pm BST. Live coverage is on BT Sport 1. Catch the highlights of the match on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:30pm BST.

Overview

Leicester City strengthened their position at the top of the table after registering a crushing 4-0 victory over Swansea City in the last tie. In the last two matches, they have failed to score and have conceded seven goals in the process.

However, the Welsh club's home form saw them win the last three matches and they kept clean sheets in all those fixtures. Francesco Guidolin will be hoping his side can beat the Reds and also keep a clean sheet in the process.

Liverpool come into this fixture after Adrian's stoppage time goal saw Villarreal beat the Premier League outfit in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final clash in Spain. The return leg will be played at Anfield next week and the Merseyside club need to make sure they win to avoid an elimination.

In the last league tie, Jurgen Klopp saw his side give away a two goal lead to settle for a 2-2 draw at the hands of Newcastle United. He will be hoping his side can seal a victory over Swansea when Liverpool face them on Sunday.

What manager says

Francesco Guidolin: "It is an important game for us and for Liverpool. They are a great club and an important team in Europe. They will be focused on every game, whether it is in the Europa League or in the Premier League. They have a good manager and lots of good players, so it is an important challenge for both myself and my team."

Jurgen Klopp: "We have to think about the line-up for Sunday. It's not about next Thursday, if you think now about that you have no chance Sunday. We will always respect the Premier League. We need to have a look at the players [before deciding who plays]. It's intensive and busy."
