Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl was allegedly gang raped at a park in south-east London. Between 6pm and 8pm on 3 July, the teenager was approached by a group of men, described as aged in their 20s, at Church House Gardens in Bromley.

The victim was then raped near a gazebo in the park by a wooden bench by more than one of the group. The victim was taken to a safe haven and continues to be supported by specialist officers.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "An investigation has been launched by detectives from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation & Child Abuse Command (SOECA). There have been no arrests at this stage. Any witnesses or anyone with information can contact the investigation team via 101."
