Sachin Tendulkar's final test saw India dominate the first day of the second Test against West Indies at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai as the hosts dismissed the visitors for 182 before the end of the second session.

India ended the day's play with 157 for the loss of two wickets with the Master Blaster remained unbeaten at 38 while Pujara made 34.

Pragyan Ojha was the star among the Indian bowlers as the left-arm spinner bagged five wickets while his spin partner Ravichandran Ashwin picked up three. Kieran Powell and Darren Bravo put on 61-run partnership for the first wicket while the rest of the visiting batsmen failed to fire.

Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up a wicket each. India, on the other hand, had a good start to their innings as Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay put on a 77-run partnership for the opening wicket before Shane Shillingford dismissed both the openers in the 14th over.

Cheteshwar Pujara walked in after Dhawan was dismissed and two balls later, Vijay fell for Shillingford. The Wankhede and the entire nation erupted in excitement, perhaps for the first time at the loss of an Indian wicket, as it brought Tendulkar in the middle for the first of his last two innings in an international game.

Tendulkar was in fine form during the start of his innings, managing his first 16 runs from 15 deliveries. However, the Little Master allowed his partner Pujara to take charge while he kept the scoreboard ticking from the other end.

With India having a strong batting lineup that includes the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni and even Ashwin to bat, one cannot rule out the possibility of a high scoring game for Tendulakr's final test.
