Thor 3 plot updates Marvel Studios

Actor Idris Elba, who played Heimdall, in Thor 1 and 2 recently revealed that he, Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) shot a scene together for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Rumours suggest that the scene, directed by Joss Whedon, could be significant to the Thor 3 storyline and might feature during the end-credits of Avengers 2.

Rumour around this scene is that Scarlet Witch will use her telepathic powers to show Thor what Loki did and what's in store for Asgarg. This could lead to the hero leaving Earth (with the help of Heimdall) and going to Asgard to save his people, reports Enstars.

"While the director of the movie usually directs the post-credit scene, Whedon may have taken on the Thor one since they have not announced anyone in charge of Thor 3 at this point. It also would maybe work better as a tease rather than taking up time during the plot of the story," states the report.

Thor 2 ended with Loki sitting on the throne of Asgard, disguised as Thor's father, Odin. And with Thor teaming up with the rest of the Avengers to take on Ultron, Loki will orchestrate the destruction of Asgard, as part of the 'Ragnarok' storyline.

Thor 3: Ragnarok is slated to be released on 28th July, 2017, while Avengers: Age of Ultron will open on 1st May, 2015.
