The upcoming episode of True Blood promises to be even more intense after series regular Tara's shocking death during the premiere.

The uninfected vampires of Bon Temps offer their help to safeguard their human neighbours from a dangerous group of vampires who are infected with the deadly Hepatitis V.

In a harrowing battle at Bellefleur's Restaurant, many of the good vampires get kidnapped while fan-favourite character Tara succumbs to the injuries inflicted by the Hep V infected vampires.

The official synopsis of the series hints at more gory deaths from the Bon Temps group in the second episode as Arlene, Holly and pregnant Nicole have been kidnapped by the vampires.

The synopsis of episode 2 titled 'I Found You' released by HBO via the Epoch Times reads:

"A trio of hostages taken in the Bellefleur's attack looks to a familiar face as a possible liberator from the H-vamps. Sookie and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) visit the neighboring town of Saint Alice, where a young woman's diary offers clues to the potential fate of Bon Temps. Spurned by Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), a desperate Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) turns to Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) to channel her family past. Vince whips his fellow vigilantes into a dangerous frenzy. Pam's (Kristin Bauer van Straten) search for her maker leads her to a very familiar place."

Actress Rutina Wesley spoke to entertainment website Vulture about her controversial death scene and said she loved her 'True Blood' journey.

"It's kind of fun. It wouldn't be True Blood if someone didn't die in the final season. I've loved my journey on this show, so I have no regrets," actress Rutina Wesley who plays Tara said.

"It's like, "Okay, cool! Let's do it!" And I got this amazing kick-ass fight. I love that she went out winning, and then you cut to the scene where you just see Lettie Mae, and you realize I lost the fight," she added.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 2, 'I Found You' will be telecast on July 29th on HBO.
