The Voice season 11 features Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine as new coaches The Voice/NBC

Emmy award-winning signing competition The Voice is all set to premiere its season 11 on NBC on 19 September. As the new season progresses, fans of the show will be treated to two new faces – Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys – who will take the red seats as new coaches of the NBC reality TV show.

As the Blind Auditions unfold, the two new coaches along with veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton would give a nod to hopeful contestants with a chair turn and in return the chosen singers have to pick a team.

All the four Voice coaches seem to have their own eccentric ways as they woo contestants into their groups.

"Alicia's is the strongest team, mine is probably a not-so-distant second," Levine earlier told ET and added, "Blake is always the weakest team. ... It's not so much his team, it's just him."

The Maroon 5 frontman's insight into the upcoming season is pretty much an indication that his playful rivalry with the 40-year-old country singer would continue this season as well. Considering that the show will have two female coaches for the first time, fans could well expect some catfights.

But if the Wrecking Ball singer's words are any indication, it's actually the opposite. "As much as the world likes to make this girl catfight scenario, that's actually Blake and Adam," Cyrus joked in a promo video for season 11. In fact Keys asserted, "Two women coaches is what The Voice needs," setting the tone for the upcoming season.

Competition between contestants would also rise this season as evident from the Olympics special preview of the NBC show. During the 30-minute special episode, talented teens W‎é McDonald and Darby Walker made heads turn with their incredible voice. While McDonald sang a deep-voiced rendition of Feeling Good, Walker impressed the judges with her version of Stand By Me.

Now that Cyrus and the talented Keys are on board and the much experienced Levine and Shelton, season 11 of The Voice will be one reality TV show to look out for. Catch the premiere episode on Monday on NBC.
