Whitney Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina Marries 'Brother' Nick Gordon

Whitney Houston's daughter has revealed she has officially married her 'adopted brother' Nick Gordon.

The 20-year-old announced the news through Twitter with a picture showing off the couple's wedding rings.

The couple raised eyebrows when they started dating shortly after Houston's tragic death in February 2012. They got engaged in October of the same year.

Houston unofficially adopted Gordon when he was 12 years old and he and Bobbi were allegedly raised like brother and sister.

During her reality series The Houstons: On Our Own, which depicted the fallout from the legendary singer's death, fans saw Bobbi's family expressing their disproval and trying desperately to make her end their relationship.

"He's her rock, her lover, best friend, her everything. She may still be a teenager, but she's older than her years and she's adamant there's nothing wrong with dating Nick as he isn't a blood relative," a source previously said.

The couple reportedly split in September 2012 after they were involved in a car accident.

Eyewitnesses cited by gossip website TMZ.com claimed that the couple were having a heated argument minutes before Gordon's's black 2012 Camaro crashed.

However months after they reconciled and recommitted to their engagement in July 2013.

"YES, we me nick are engaged. I'm tired of hearing people say "eww your engaged to your brother" or "if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this?"' Bobbi Kristina wrote on her Facebook page at the time."
