Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake have been confirmed as the headline acts for the 2013 Wireless Festival.

The duo, who recently appeared on stage together at the Grammys to perform their collaboration Suit & Tie, will follow in the steps of Drake and Rihanna who headlined the event in 2012.

Timberlake performs on 12 July 2013 while The Watch the Throne rapper takes the stage for his only European festival performance of the year on 13 July.

The summer festival is being moved from central London's Hyde Park to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park venue in Stratford, east London, to overcome the noise restrictions and logistical problems that beset promoter Live Nation.

"This is a stellar line-up of stars at Queen Elizabeth Park London," said London mayor Boris Johnson.

"It proves that our fantastic Olympic park is now a destination of choice for world-class musical events."

Other acts on the bill include Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Emeli Sandé and Snoop Dogg, John Legend and Calvin Harris.

Tickets for the 2013 Wireless Festival go on sale on 22 February at 9am.
