The latest episode of Monday Night Raw was everything fans had expected it to be ahead of the Clash of the Champions scheduled to take place at Indianapolis, Indiana on 25 September. The event, which was aired from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, saw some exciting fights such as the one between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns for the right to challenge the WWE Universal Champion.

Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns
WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens dashed Roman Reigns' hope to challenge him at the Clash of Champions. The non-title match was exciting from the start which ended after Seth Rollins attacked Owens from behind when the latter had thrown Reigns into the ringpost. Owens won via disqualification.
Dana Brooke vs Sasha Banks vs Bayley (Triple Threat for the #1 Contendership)
The title for the #1 Contendership was fiercely contested by the three divas from the start. During the match Bayley carried out the Bayley-to-Belly on Brooke, but Banks interfered and pinned Bayley for the win.
Sheamus vs Cesaro (Best of 7 Series)
Sheamus vs Cesaro clashed for the fifth time in the Best of 7 Series. Sheamus and Cesaro had three and one wins respectively going into the match. Cesaro made the series three and two as he defeated Sheamus via a pinfall.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston
Both the teams tried to defeat the other in the non-title match, but at the end, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson came out on top after the duo carried out the Magic Killer on Woods for the win.
Jinder Mahal vs Jack Swagger
Jinder Mahal went at Jack Swagger as soon the bell rang and dominated the early proceedings of the match. Swagger desperately tied to comeback but was unsuccessful in his endeavours. Mahal won the match via pinfall with a Regal Cutter.
Enzo Amore vs Epico
Epico defeated Enzo Amore with a lateral press.
Bo Dallas vs Brandon Scott
Bo Dallas was pitted against a local wrestler named Brandon Scott. The fight was a quick one as Dallas won via pinfall with the rolling cutter.
Alicia Fox vs Nia Jax
Nia sent Alicia through the barrier with a spear. The incident left the officials to end the match in a no contest.
