Months after her very public split with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards said she was enjoying single life and was finally in "a good place". But even she could not resist showing her ex what he was missing when the opportunity presented itself.
The 22-year-old songstress flaunted her curves at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards in a daring silver sheer gown, days after her ex-fiancé went public with model Gigi Hadid.
Her floor-length crystal embellished dress by fashion brand PA5H London revealed her black 1950s-inspired high-waisted knickers and black bra,and clung to her slender frame. She completed the look by styling her hair in a high ponytail, which featured a metallic cone.
The pop star was joined by her bandmates Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, who also pulled out all the stops for the event, which celebrates the amazing achievements of the nation's truly inspirational real-life women and ultimate celebrities.
Edwards is said to have been left "devastated" when Malik, 22, who popped the question in August 2013, ended their romance in July. A source told People magazine at the time: "Perrie is being a trooper about it and putting on a brave face but she's devastated. She's doesn't know what he's thinking. She's going to go out and promote the new single but obviously the timing could not be worse, especially when she's going to be doing so many interviews?"
Although Malik has since rubbished claims that he dumped her via text, he did hint their split was far from amicable. "I have more respect for Perrie than to end anything over text message. I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that," he told Fader magazine.
Malik and Hadid, 20, first sent tongues wagging after being pictured leaving Justin Bieber's post-American Music Awards party at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood together in November. Days later, the Bradford-born star went public with his new love outside the same celebrity haunt, where they were spotted holding hands for the first time.
