Fifteen people are reported to have died in riots ahead of a football match in the Congo

Fifteen people are reported to have been killed during a riot at a football match in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Twenty-one fans were also said to have been seriously injured after violence broke out in the match between ASV Club and the Tout Puissant Mazembe in the capital, Kinshasa.

Kinshasa governor Andre Kimbuta, who visited the hospital where the injured were being treated, confirmed the death toll.
