Rio Ferdinand is a target for two of Qatar's richest clubs, according to the Daily Mail.

Lekhwiya and Al Sadd are both interested in the England international who has also been linked with MLS side Chicago Fire in the last week.

However, Ferdinand's agent, Jamie Moralee, has moved to quash claims linking the defender with a move away saying: "It has been a very frustrating period for all concerned," said Moralee.

"What he wants to do is put his injuries behind him and start showing the form that even last season he produced against some of the very best forwards in the world.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshire has rubbished speculation linking him with a summer move to Manchester City.

"No disrespect to Manchester City but Arsenal is the perfect home for me right now."
