Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is willing to appear on Agents of Shield Marvel Studios

Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is willing to appear on Marvel's Agents of Shield as Star Lord, if the plot makes sense.

While attending a press event for the final season of his hit comedy TV series Parks and Recreation, Zap2it asked Pratt, that with his schedule clearing up, whether or not he'd be up for an appearance on the second season of Marvel's Agents of Shield., he replied:

"I wouldn't rule it out. Marvel would have to decide, but if it made sense for the brand and for the story, yeah sure."

"What's pretty neat about Marvel [is] the mythology exists across all mediums – comic books to films to television," Pratt added. "It's one giant universe, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility."

Pratt is not the first Marvel film actor who has expressed his willingness to be part of the ABC show. Earlier, Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr and Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner stated that they'd be open to appearing on the show.

With Marvel's TV and cinematic universe so closely connected, a cameo by some of these super-popular characters is possible and will definitely add to the show's ratings.

Marvel film stars who've already made an appearance on the show include Samuel L Jackson (who plays Nick Fury) and Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif from Thor). Cobie Smulders, who plays the role of former Sheild agent Maria Hill in the Marvel franchise, is also a recurring actress on the show.
