Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the Oldest Longines Watch in India contest organised by the company in Taj Palace in New Delhi.
The 39-year-old former Miss World, who has been slowly but steadily bouncing back to her pre-pregnancy weight, looked ravishing in a red and black lehenga, (Indian traditional clothing). She also launched the new collection of Longines watches.
"These time pieces have so much to tell. I got my first Longines watch in 1999 and i will surely be passing it on. I am sure one day it will have sentimental value. This value is priceless than any value which can be monetarily attached. You have to cherish this," she said at a press conference.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is the brand ambassador of the company, also announced the winners of the contest.
"I was floored by the idea (of the contest). But I had no idea how it would be executed and the logistics of it," she added.
The green-eyed beauty, despite her busy schedule, is known to play a doting mother for her daughter Aaradhya, born on 16 November, 2011, who is known to join her mother for almost all events.
"I haven't realised time has flown by so quickly, I am busy attending to my daughter, meeting my professional commitments, I thank my fans. I am being approached by a lot of people I worked with, my directors, but as of now I cannot commit! Let's see," she told NDTV when asked if she will make her comeback in films any soon.
