The Samsung Galaxy S5 is finally receiving the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update in Europe Reuters

Google's Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update has finally reached European shores and is available for Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone users.

According to a SamMobile report, the Android 5.0 update is available for users of the Galaxy S5 bearing model number SM-G900F in Poland.

The SamMobile report also hints at the OS update being rolled out to Galaxy S5 users in the UK and other European countries soon.

Galaxy S5 users can check if the update is available via the over-the-air (OTA) mechanism.

An Android 5.0 beta build had earlier surfaced, running on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Google Play edition (GPe). However, the high-end smartphone is yet to receive the OS upgrade officially.
