Overview

The third round clash against Thomaz Bellucci was Murray best's display in this year's tournament. In the first and the second round matches, the 28-year-old dropped one and two sets respectively.

Murray sealed a straight set victory over the Brazilian as the final score was 6-3, 6-2, 7-5. He will be hoping to seal another straight set victory on Monday in order to advance to the last eight of the US Open.

Having won the US Open in 2012, the British tennis star will be looking forward to win his third Grand Slam of his career. Murray is one of the favourites to win the fourth and the final Grand Slam of the year.

Meanwhile, Anderson defeated Dominic Thiem in the previous round to make it to the last 16. After winning the first set, the next two sets were decided in a tie breaker and the South African won both sets to seal the match. The final score was 6-3, 7-6, 7-6.

So far in this year's US Open, Anderson has dropped only one set against Russia's Andrey Rublev. He will be hoping he could defeat Murray in straight sets in the fourth round clash.
