If Instagram hadn't already told you so, Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner are the forever friends of the modelling world, sharing everything from beds to boyfriends (Harry Styles anyone?). Now it seems they are taking their friendship into business with the launch of their fashion line CaKe.

The ingenious portmanteau of their forenames is something that has been doing the rounds on their social media for some time, most notably when Kendall instagrammed an image of the pair wearing T-shirts emblazoned with the CaKe name at a Taylor Swift concert back in March, 2015.

According to The Sun the pair trademarked the name during the summer and already have t-shirt and hat designs with their new logo. A source also told the paper that "They both see it as a bit of fun but are secretly confident it will do well" and that "The ultimate aim is for CaKe to have its own stores in the UK and US."

Of course neither of the girls are strangers to the fashion world, having modelled for the biggest brands in the world including Chanel and Burberry. Kendall is also currently representing Estée Lauder as the face of the brand while Cara has recently taken a step back from modelling to concentrate on her acting with roles, in upcoming Valerean as well as the likes of Suicide Squad and Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie. However 23 year old Delevingne has also lent her hand to design in the past. With collaborations with Mulberry and DKNY under her belt she is a perfect match to work with Kendall who released a capsule collection for Topshop with sister Kylie last November.

Cara also got into a little hot water for selling T-shirts in 2015 bearing the slogan 'The Future is Female' so hopefully she will have a bit of a sweeter deal with the release of the CaKe brand in 2016.
