Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may have filed legal papers for their divorce but the couple are determined not to let their separation come in between their children. Keeping their summer holiday tradition alive, they flew to the Bahamas this week with their three children, daughters Violet, 11, and Seraphina, 8, and son Samuel, 5.

"Ben and Jen want to keep their kids' lives as normal as possible. They still enjoy doing activities and events as a family unit. And they also do separate things with each kid on their own," a source told ET Online. Bennifer filed for divorce two years after the split in June 2015.

"Their main priority has always been their three children and making sure this transition doesn't negatively impact them. There is a lot of respect and love around there but neither is ruling out dating other people in the future," the source said.

In 2016, the former Hollywood couple enjoyed an extended summer holiday in Europe sparking reunion rumours. The Daredevil actress has previously said that she had love and respect for her former husband.

"Their friendship is there. They are committed to co-parenting. Whatever form this relationship is, they'll always have love for each other, and the love they have for their kids is so strong, they won't let anything bring that down," a source told Us Weekly in February.
