Ben Affleck is all praise for Jennifer Garner and revealed that "she's a great mom". The duo have remained amicable despite reports suggesting that they were planning to part ways in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage.

"She's [Garner] in Reno. Doing what she believes in. Which is great. Think it's awesome. And I'm so impressed by it – her and everything she does," The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor told Extra at the red carpet premiere of his new movie The Accountant on Monday (10 October), via People magazine. "She's a great mom and that's how it is," he added.

The 44-year-old actor also said that he and the Miracles From Heaven actress will be accompanying their children – daughters Violet (10) and Seraphina (7) and four-year-old son Samuel – "for trick or treating" during Halloween. Affleck, however, said that their children are not sure as to what they will go out as, but added that he will be going as their father.

"We both take them trick or treating," Affleck said, adding, "They're still working on it. They haven't decided on a character. I'm not gonna dress up this year. I'm gonna go as Dad."

Speaking about co-parenting the trio – along with Garner – he said, "We do our best. We try our best. My areas of expertise with the kids [are] spotty at best. Not homework."

In March, Garner had opened up about co-parenting the children with Affleck. "People have been so kind to my whole family, and we really do appreciate it. But, you know what, we're doing really well... The kids are great," she told the Today show's Savannah Guthrie. "We will make it work. We are definitely a modern family. We're doing really well," she said on the NBC show Today in August.
