The 2015 BET Hip Hip Awards are set to air on in a two-hour special on 13 October. Fans can tune into the annual ceremony that celebrates the best of hip hop at 8/7 central on BET.

Now in its 10th year, the show first aired back in 2006 in Atlanta with comedian Katt Williams at the helm. This year's ceremony was taped at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center on 9 October and sees rapper Snoop Dogg returning as host of the show for the third consecutive year.

Leading the nominations is Young Money rapper and Serena Williams's rumoured beau Drake, with 12 nods including best live performer and album of the year for his record If You Are Reading This It Is Too Late. Despite facing accusations of using a ghostwriter, he could still walk away with the coveted lyricist of the year.

Acts expected to take to the stage include Lil' Kim and P Diddy. Hip hop stars Future, Travis $cott, and iHeart Memphis will also round up the line-up. As for the show's famous Cypher, fans can expect an eclectic mix of young blood and old school heads. In the meantime, here is the full list of nominees:
