Nick Gordon has reportedly begged Bobby Brown to allow him to attend the funeral of Bobbi Kristina Brown.

The daughter of the late Whitney Houston died on Sunday (26 July). She had been in a medically induced coma for six months after she was found on 31 January, face down and unresponsive in the bath tub of her Roswell home.

TMZ reported that they have seen the email Gordon sent to Bobbi Kristina's father, which was also copied to her aunt Pat Houston, who is making the funeral arrangements.

He writes: "I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye. I'm begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance. Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there."

The Brown and Houston family refused to allow the 22-year-old to visit Bobbi Kristina as she lay in hospital, with many members of the family including Bobby Brown and his sister Leolah, publicly accusing Gordon of involvement in her tragic circumstances.

Gordon has been declared 'a person of interest' by police since her death and is the subject of a $10m civil lawsuit.

He is alleged to have tried to buy drugs for the 22-year-old on the day she was found unresponsive in her bathtub. A friend of Bobbi Kristina has spoken of the couple's allegedly abusive relationship and revealed to E! that Bobbi Kristina often confided in her about Gordon's violent outburst.

Prosecutors want to charge him with involuntary manslaughter. Prosecutors are also reportedly speaking to Max Lomas, who was at Bobbi Kristina's home the day of the incident and is currently facing charges of two drug-related crimes not connected to her death.

In exchange for revealing exactly what happened on the day of the incident, police would offer Lomas immunity in the criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina's death and probation on the drugs charges, a source revealed to TMZ.

The funeral for Bobbi Kristina is to take place at Alpharetta, Georgia, on Saturday (1 August)

The arrangements are also a cause of dispute between the families with MailOnline reporting that Dionne Warwick is threatening to boycott Bobbi Kristina's funeral because of a disagreement over plans drawn up by Pat Houston.

Warwick, who is Whitney Houston's cousin, is said to be opposed to the idea of a 'sweet sixteen themed' funeral.

Speaking to MailOnline, the source said: "Dionne is planning a trip and threatening to not attend the funeral because Pat Houston is taking over even though she should be making decisions with Bobby and not doing it on her own."

While the funeral marks a tragic end to a turbulent life for Bobbi Kristina, which was, by all accounts, overshadowed by alleged abuse, violence and drug use, the controversy wages on, as the warring families prepare to go head-to-head over her $20m inheritance.
