Full time: Real Madrid (2) 1-1 (3) Juventus

Experience prevails over wealth as Juventus surge into the Champions League final against Barcelona. Alvaro Morata scores the important goal against his former club and Real Madrid face ending the season without a major trophy.

Well that is all we have time for on this Champions League live text. Until next time, goodbye.

Only two minutes left and Real Madrid look dead and buried here. Juventus have looked comfortable for some time.

Entering stoppage time at the Bernabeu. Four minutes added on.

What a chance to win the tie! Paul Pogba gets the ball from Fernando Llorente and he effort is beaten away by Casillas. Will he live to regret that?

Gareth Bale shoots from 25 yards but the ball flies wide of Buffon's goal. How many saves as he been forced to make in this second half? Not many. Juventus look comfortable.

Toni Kroos with a weak effort from the edge of the box after being fed by Bale. Real running out of ideas you feel as we enter the final nine minutes.

First change for Juventus as Barzagli comes on for Pirlo. Not been his night exactly but at the moment his team are on track for the final. Eleven minutes left.

Madrid want a penalty for a foul by Evra on Hernandez as Marcelo's cross came in but nothing doing from the Danish officials. Now a corner for Real as we enter the final 15 minutes.

Now Bale heads over from two yards out from Ronaldo's cross. No immediate signs the Bernabeu crowd are getting on his back and they can't be far away.

Another chance for Gareth Bale. Marcelo's cross is headed out by Chiellini and the ball comes to the Welshman who swings a left boot at it and the ball bounces wide.

Juventus looks slightly more comfortable in defence than they had before the goal as the second leg reaches the final quarter. A few Real passes haven't found their targets. Huge moment in the tie as Vidal finds Marchisio, who is denied by a fine save by Casillas. That could have been that.

Marchisio's cross is just beyond the reach of Morata. Change for Real as Benzema goes off and Javier Hernandez comes on. The French has missed the last seven games so understandably only lasts an hour.

The home side into the ascendency again and they should be ahead. Marcelo is found brilliantly by James and his cross finds Bale on his left foot, six yards out and somehow he volleys wide. Not sure anyone in the Bernabeu can believe he missed.

Goal: Real Madrid (2) 1-1 (3) Juventus (Alvaro Morata)

A bolt from the blue from the team in blue. Juventus level on the night and grab the crucial away goal they so desperately craved. Casillas punches away a corner from the right and when Pogba wins the head after the ball is knocked back in, Morata reacts quickest and slams the ball into the flood and beyond the Madrid 'keeper.

Andrea Pirlo has been hopelessly ineffective tonight, mainly because his passing has been so off colour and here comes another, as the Italy World Cup floats a cross high and straight into the hands of Casillas.

Marchisio with probably the best effort from Juventus since early in the first half. it flies past Casillas' goal. A sign of things to come?

It has been all Real at the start of this second half even if Buffon's goal has yet to be tested. Juve do mount one attack in the opening five minutes of this second period but Pogab over-hits a cross. The final ball from Juve has been truly woeful.

Juventus being made to wait by Real Madrid before this second half gets under way. Few mind games there from the reigning champions. Are we set for another all-La Liga final or can Juventus spoil the party and reach their first final for 12 years? The semi-final second leg has resumed with no changes at the break.

Half time: Real Madrid (2) 1-0 (2) Juventus

Real Madrid are heading for an El Clasico final against Barcelona after Cristiano Ronaldo's penalty. The hosts have more or less dominated the first half with wave after wave of attacks while Juventus have failed to muster more than a Arturo Vidal shot which Casillas saved well. The Italians are yet to turn up but know they only need a goal to take the imitative in this tie again. Still all to play for.

Real's desperate to find a second leads James Rodriguez to dive after being touched by Vidal. Very poor as the first half draws to a close.

Gareth Bale plays an inch perfect long pass to Ronaldo who escapes down the left channel and shoots into the side netting. Real go again and Benzema forces Buffon to push the ball away from an snap shot at the near post.

Can grab a crucial second before half time? Benzema puts and end to the tedious build-up play by taking aim from 20 yards but the ball balloons over.

Juventus look good on the break when Real commit too many players forward but their use of the ball has been very poor. Vidal again fails to find the first man from first the cross and then Pirlo subsequent corner is nodded away with ease. Desperately disappointing.

Juventus seemingly insistent on taking every corner short and this one sees Pirlo over-hit the ball and it sails out of play. Not ideal for the Italians. Now a very poor free-kick from the midfield magician. Not his night so far.

Benzema plants a header straight at Buffon as Real threaten to run away with this second leg. First yellow card of the evening goes to Isco after he blocks off Tevez. Corner for Juventus as they attempt a response.

Juve not going anywhere just yet and they threaten through Moratta, who cuts the ball across the penalty area where Cavajal puts the ball out for a corner. Real on the break and how do they notmake it two? Benzema feeds Ronaldo and instead of shooting on his right foot he crosses for Bale and the chance it gone. Amazing that the world footballer of the year did not try to test Button.

Goal: Real Madrid (2) 1-0 (2) Juventus (Cristiano Ronaldo)

Real Madrid ahead on the night and on away goals in the tie in controversial circumstances. James Rodriguez goes down under a challenge by Giorgio Chiellini and the referee points to the spot. Ronaldo sends the ball down the middle as Buffon goes to his right and Juve have it all to do.

Penalty to Real Madrid

So close for Real Madrid. Karim Benzema gets in behind and pulls the ball back behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who was waiting to tap into an almost unguarded net. The Frenchman shows a bit of rustiness there with a poor pass. Now Gareth Bale shoots from range and Buffon makes a fine stop to push it behind.

Real having much of the early possession but Juve have had the better attacking moments and they almost take the lead. Vidal cuts onto his unfavoured left-foot and takes aim from 20 yards, a strike which Casillas turns away. Good save and a warning to the hosts.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a woeful record this season from free-kicks but that does not stop him being the number one option from set-pieces. His first effort in anger comes after just 10 minutes here and he comes close to troubling Gianluigi Buffon when his strike is deflected onto the roof of the net.

Madrid have started well and they should be ahead on the night. Carvajal's cross is pulled down by Benzema, who escapes Chiellini's attention but he blazes over from seven yards. Good chance, but you fancy there will be more.

Half a chance for Juventus on their real foray in the Madrid half. A corner is worked to Arturo Vidal, who crosses left-footed low towards Bonucci, who can't turn his header goalwards and instead it flies back to the Chilean and he is offside.

Early chances inside 35 seconds. Marcelo's cross goes over Patrice Evra, who gets attracted to Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale flashes a header over the bar. Big, big perhaps career-defining night for the Welshman you feel.

We're under way at the Bernabeu. Strap in for this one.

Players in the tunnel at the Bernabeu. Real and Juve on their way out for this semi-final second leg. What drama awaits?

These two sides have reached 20 previous finals between them in the history of the European Cup. Who will make number 21? Kick off is less than 10 minutes away in Madrid where temperatures are set to reach 34C.

If there is a weight of expectation on Real Madrid, then Juventus are perfectly placed to take full advantage if the Spanish club suffer any stage fright tonight. Reaching the Champions League final would represent a remarkable turnaround for a club who were relegated to Serie B in 2006 after match fixing charges against them, and having won back the Italian title and moved into a new ground the club can complete their rival in Madrid.

I described the scenes which met the Real Madrid bus earlier, but here is pictorial evidence. If a image ever painted a thousand words.....

The reception which the bus containing the Real Madrid players received upon their arrival at the Bernabeu, which included crowds 30-men deep, fireworks and firecrackers, gives you an indication of the expectations of the home team tonight. The La Liga title might be gone and for Carlo Ancelotti, he might be gone too if his side can't prevail tonight. Unrest at Real, with Iker Casillas and Gareth Bale subject to criticism from the home faithful has swelled the importance of tonight's tie to almost breaking point. Only creating history, in defending the Champions League, will do now.

Sergio Ramos reverts to centre-back after his ill-fated spell in midfield in Turin as BBC are reunited in attack as Karim Benzema returns alongside Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

For Juventus, the head time news revolves around Paul Pogba who is recalled after seven weeks out injured for the Italian champions in their only change from the first leg.

Many of the same cast on show at the Bernabeu, but will we get a similar result?

Team news:

Real Madrid v Juventus

Real Madrid: Casillas; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Kroos, Isco, James Rodriguez; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo.

Juventus: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra; Marchisio, Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal; Tevez, Morata.

El Clasico or the return of the Old Lady? Those are the two narratives which may emerge from tonight's second semi-final where Juventus travel to the Bernabeu with a 2-1 lead from the first leg against holders and 10-time winners Real Madrid. Barcelona lie in wait for whichever side prevail tonight over 90 minutes, or even extra time and penalties. After a thrilling first leg, will we get a second leg sitting of the stage? Team news and updates on the way.
