He said that 'Apparently, the game is awesome. I'm not a gamer, I have no idea, I haven't played it. My agent asked me if I wanted to go and do a voiceover. I was in the studio for four hours maybe, and people keep saying how amazing it is and congratulations and I feel like a total fraud'.
He also expressed that he was thrilled for the developers and how well the title did. The crowd at the event understood that he was coming from a place of genuine surprise and happiness with the internet giving him generally positive reactions.

About Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a role-playing game (RPG) developed by French studio Sandfall Interactive. It was published by Kepler Interactive and released on April 24, 2025.
The game is set in a dark fantasy Belle Époque-esque era, following volunteers of the titular Expedition 33. The main goal is to eliminate the Paintress, a being causing a yearly erasure for those at or above a perpetually decreasing age.
The player will control a party of characters in third-person view, exploring areas and participating in turn-based combat with a unique take on its game mechanics. Some of its standout quirks are the integration of quick time events.
The game was inspired from Japanese RPG titles like Final Fantasy and Persona. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is supported by the PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Within 33 days of release, the game sold over 3.3 million copies and has reached universal acclaim.
