Diego Costa has suffered yet another injury in Chelsea's post season tour of Asia after coming on the end of a fierce tackle from John Obi Mikel, according to the Daily Mail.

The Spaniard has missed a major part of the second half of the campaign through injury and the current injury will be a warning sign for Jose Mourinho, who has to ramp up his striking department in the summer to retain his title.

Chelsea will play against the Thailand All-Stars on 30 May in a friendly game but Costa is unlikely to be fit, with Mourinho likely to give him a rest ahead of what could be another gruelling season for the Spaniard starting in August.

Costa limped out of the ground without his boot after the challenge and was seen to be in pain, but is expected to recover for the upcoming friendlies lined up for the Champions.

The Portuguese manager will be imploring his side to relax before starting pre-season training, having just won the Premier League title after a professional performance through the length of the campaign.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Cech, who may be on his way out of the club in the summer, revealed that the team is trying out ways to beat the jet lag, which is a pertinent issue while travelling to Asia from Europe.

"The main thing for me was when we arrived, not to go and sleep all day," he said. "Everybody deals with jet lag differently but I knew if I went to sleep in the afternoon during the night I would not sleep, so after lunch at the hotel I took a book and read by the pool or a couple of hours, which I haven't done for a long time!" Cech said.

The Czech Republic international has been linked with a move to a lot of clubs across Europe but the player is believed to be eyeing a move to north London with Arsenal, given his family is happily settled in the capital.
