Ciara received an unwanted gift at Los Angeles Pride, when she was allegedly served legal papers on stage.

The singer is being sued by the promoters of popular West Hollywood club The Factory, who allege that she signed a $10,000 deal to perform at a pre-LA bash but bailed at the eleventh hour.

According to TMZ, a process server posing as a fan managed to make it to the edge of the stage.

In a 50-second clip captured by the celebrity site, Cici is performing her hit "Promise" when a woman hands her the papers from the side of the stage.

The 27-yaer-old star can be seen taking a quick look before dropping the documents.

"She got served," the unidentified woman said to the camera after she left the papers lying on the stage.

Ever the professional, Ciara continues her routine despite the interruption.

A source close to the star claims the Body Party hitmaker informed The Factory in advance that she would not be able to attend, but they continued to promote her appearance.

Ciara has not released a public statement regarding the lawsuit.
