Get ready, gamers! PlayStation Plus is set to supercharge July with an exciting lineup, headlined by a truly monumental addition.

Dive into Night City as Cyberpunk 2077 makes its highly anticipated debut on the Game Catalogue. But that's not all – this month promises even more thrilling titles to expand your digital library. Let's explore what new adventures await you.

CD Projekt Red's acclaimed RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, has officially arrived on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue. From 9 July, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can immerse themselves in the full base game on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, all at no additional cost.

As noted on the PlayStation Blog, Cyberpunk 2077's arrival is part of the continuing PlayStation Plus 15th anniversary festivities. These celebrations also feature a remarkable 30% price reduction on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, offered exclusively to PlayStation Plus members. This particular offer runs from 9 July through 23 July.

Night City Awaits: On PS5 and PS4

In Cyberpunk 2077, you assume the identity of V, a customisable mercenary with cybernetic enhancements, carving out a name and striving to survive in Night City. A relentless pursuit of power, wealth, and extensive body augmentations consumes this sprawling, technology-driven urban centre.

The game features an intense central storyline, with Keanu Reeves portraying the rebellious rocker Johnny Silverhand. It provides an abundance of side quests, smaller tasks, and opportunities for open-world exploration.

CD Projekt Red has significantly upgraded the PS5 version, introducing stunning 4K visuals, advanced ray tracing, and immersive 3D audio. Furthermore, the game fully utilises the DualSense controller, delivering heightened feedback through its adaptive triggers and haptic vibration.

The PS5's ultra-fast SSD ensures players can explore Night City with hardly any loading screens. Those on PS5 will also receive all post-launch updates, including new missions, vehicles, gameplay enhancements, and the upcoming Update 2.3.

Meanwhile, PS4 players can download and enjoy the base game, complete with all updates released explicitly for their version, up to and including the Edgerunners Update.

Joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue means subscribers can now dive into Cyberpunk 2077, experiencing one of the decade's most ambitious open-world RPGs. It comes fully optimised for both console generations and is filled with extensive content from its initial release and subsequent updates.

While Cyberpunk 2077 certainly takes centre stage, there are plenty more gems making their way to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue this July.
