Dan Bilzerian's Photo with Post Malone in Epstein Files Taken in 2018, Leaving Netizens Confused
A photo of Dan Bilzerian and Post Malone taken in 2018 was found in the Epstein files and confuses netizens

Following the release of millions of files in relation to the investigation into notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, more names have since appeared. Netizens discovered a photo of controversial influencer Dan Bilzerian with Post Malone included in the files, yet expressed confusion about the inclusion of the photo, as it was originally shared on Facebook in 2018.
The confusion stemmed from a post on X by user Furbeti that showed a screenshot of a photo of Bilzerian and Post Malone alongside the original photo. In the screenshot, Bilzerian was in the middle of two women whose identities were blacked out. However, the original photo was not redacted, showing who was with Bilzerian and Malone. 'Dan Bilzerian posted this image with Post Malone to Facebook in 2018. Why was this included in the Epstein files?' the post asked.

Netizens Confused
In comments to the post, netizens were left confused as to why the photo was included whilst also questioning whether Bilzerian and Malone could be involved. Other commenters questioned that if the photo was from 2018, whether the Justice Department was purposely trying to implicate other people rather than reveal who are really included.
'DOJ muddying the waters, making random people look like victims with the redactions, implicating random celebrities to clean their hands of wrongdoing for the real criminal complaints against the elitist paedophiles', said one commenter. 'It's in the Epstein files because it was found on his hard drive not because the people in the photo were involved. Evidence dumps include everything he saved, not just crimes', said another commenter, referring to Epstein, who died in his New York jail cell awaiting trial in 2019.
'DOJ trying to implicate Hollywood instead of Trump, half of his cabinet and his entire inner circle who actually are Epstein co-conspirators', said a third commenter. Other comments included: 'The goal was to flood it with as much false information as they could so we would fight over the authenticity of it all' and 'I keep saying that the whole Epstein files are one big honeypot'.
Bilzerian Responds
The post reached Bilzerian, who responded by noting that photos he has posted on Instagram were also included in the Epstein files. 'Every pic I posted on my IG is in the files w girls faces blacked out', said Bilzerian. The response further fuelled the confusion whilst also reinforcing speculations that the Justice Department was trying to 'muddy the waters' by implicating many other public figures instead of the actual people involved.

One netizen shared a screenshot referring to a strategy called 'Flood the zone', which has been associated with President Donald Trump's associate Steve Bannon. The supposed strategy emerged in comments Bannon made to Michael Lewis in 2018. Bannon said that lawmakers and people who are aligned with Democrats are not who conservatives or Republicans are against. 'The Democrats don't matter...the real opposition is the media, and the way to deal with them is to flood the zone with s***', said Bannon at the time.

The Justice Department has since released its latest batch of files related to Epstein, which continues to be subject to criticism from lawmakers on both sides of the political spectrum as well as the public.
