US rapper Drake is certainly making the most of his time in London as the Know Yourself hitmaker is said to have racked up a fairly hefty bar tab while partying with a group of celebrity friends.

With a few days to go until he headlines the first day of Wireless Festival 2015, the Canadian hip hop star reportedly picked up a $16,000 (£10,100) bill at the capital's Chinawhite nightclub.

According to TMZ, the 28-year-old DJ'd at the event before mingling with 30 friends including Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, model Kendall Jenner, rapper Kid Ink, pop star Rita Ora and new couple Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas.

The group are said to have blitzed their way through 25 bottles of alcohol, including tequila, cognac, vodka and champagne.

Proving himself to be a true gentleman, Drake kindly picked up the bill on behalf of his friends, reportedly paying the $15,000 total while adding on a tip of $1,000.

Footing the bill clearly was not a problem for the Grammy-winner who has been named in Forbes' annual list of the highest paid celebrities. Sitting at number 54, Drake is said to have amassed a fortune of $39.5m (£25.1m).

During his headline performance at the Wireless 10 event hours before his big night out on 28 June, Drake told the audience that he has spent the last week in London working on his long-awaited fourth studio album Views From The 6.

The Legend hitmaker was also seen attending a Wimbledon press conference the following day to support his long-time friend Serena Williams.

According to USA Today, the rapper chatted away to the tennis champ's agents while the press fired off questions.

Wireless Festival will be one of the last stops on Drake's Jungle tour, which has seen him perform tracks from his latest critically-acclaimed mixtape If You're Reading This You're Too Late.
