It looks like Tess Holliday is using her bathroom selfies for causes bigger than just sharing them on social media. The plus size model took to Instagram on Sunday (20 August) to post a seemingly innocent click that showed her wearing a simple white tee with a super sarcastic message.

"Respect women, dump Trump," the tee-shirt quote read making it clear that the 32-year-old fashion model is not a big fan of the President of the US. From what it appears, the American was headed to Washington D.C. – the official residence of the President – when she decided to take a swift swipe at Trump.

Reinforcing her feelings, she further added in the photo caption, "‪Going to the home of Ole' Donny & just showing my 'respect'." The mother-of-two also included some suggestive hashtags for good measure – "#DumpTrump #RespectEveryone #effyourbeautystandards"

The bathroom selfie clicked at the Los Angeles International Airport has successfully caught her 1.5 million social media followers' attention, who rushed to the comments section to share mixed views.

"Thank you! For speaking up...when so many stay silent," one Instagram user wrote, voicing support for Holliday's outspoken post. "Not only I want the shirt but have the courage to wear it. You rock dear Tess, (sic)" another user commented.

"Thank you @tessholliday for standing up for minorities and speaking up," a second supporter penned, while a third added, "Thank you for wearing that shirt and for speaking out. Respect is given when it is earned and that so called president deserves none after his horrid behavior. Just because he holds office doesn't mean he deserves my respect when he's disrespecting millions of people."

Amid the bout of support, however, some simply chose to focus on the Holliday's impact in the world of fashion, writing, "Though I don't agree with your politics, you are a great role model for all women. I will continue to follow you because I do love fashion, and believe that you can make a change in that industry."

The plus-size model has never been the one to shy away when it comes to voicing her feelings on social media. Most recently, Holliday posted an adorable family photo, sharing words of praise for her husband Nick Holliday.

"[Nick] & I are proud to be raising boys that will respect everyone regardless of their size, gender, race, sexual orientation, physical & mental abilities," she wrote in the caption.

The model shares one-year-old son Bowie Juniper with her husband and 11-year-old Rylee from a previous relationship.
