Owens also claimed that Erika's assistant, who happens to be the daughter of her longtime best friend, was asked not to attend the event in Utah amid fears for her safety.

Owens claimed that Erika must have warned her best friend, Tracy Martin, that something tragic would take place at the campus while Charlie was giving a speech. Martin then told her daughter, who is Erika's assistant, to skip the entire event.
