For the last two decades it's provided a high-speed rail service between the UK and mainland Europe, now on the eve of Eurostar's 20<sup>th Birthday, the company has unveiled new trains which can reach speeds of 200mph.

Built by German firm Siemens, the 10 e320 trains, which will come into service at the end of next year, can carry up to 894 passengers.

Since its launch on 14 November 1994, Eurostar has carried more than 145 million passengers. The UK government announced in October that it was looking to sell its 40% stake in Eurostar before next year's general election in order to help boost public finances.
