UFO Whistleblower Claims US Government Has Recovered Craft as Air Force Admits Weapons Are Now in Orbit

A former Air Force intelligence specialist has claimed the US government possesses recovered craft, adding a striking new allegation to an already heated UAP disclosure debate, just as the Pentagon has publicly confirmed that American weapons are operating in orbit.

Dylan Borland made the claim during an appearance with UAP researcher Ben Hansen on Sean Hannity's podcast, saying he could answer the question directly: 'Yes, they do.'

Borland Says Recovered Craft Exist

Borland, who testified before the House Oversight Task Force on declassification of federal secrets in September 2025, was pressed by Hannity over whether security restrictions allowed him to discuss recovered craft.

Asked specifically if the government had recovered craft, Borland answered yes. He also said much of what he knows is already available publicly through other sources, although he cannot personally disclose everything without risking legal consequences.

The former intelligence specialist argued that congressional committees have known about aspects of the UAP issue for years. He pointed particularly to the House Oversight Committee and said the intelligence and armed services committees in both chambers of Congress have been informed.

Borland also suggested the issue extends beyond government agencies. If private defence contractors possess advanced recovered technology, he argued, questions could arise over corporate assets, investors and technologies that could potentially affect propulsion or energy research.

Grusch Case Adds Another Layer

The discussion comes as David Grusch's FOIA lawsuit against the Department of Defense moves into another legal stage.

The Department of Justice filed a motion for summary judgement on 21 September, asking the court to end the case by finding that the Pentagon conducted an adequate search for records. The motion is not a ruling by the judge, and it does not establish whether Grusch's underlying UAP claims are true or false.

The case has nevertheless confirmed that responsive records exist. Forty pages were released to Grusch in May, with redactions. The government had initially identified thousands of potentially responsive pages before narrowing the material through its review process.

Air Force Confirms Weapons in Orbit

Air Force Secretary Troy Meink said on 14 September that the US Space Force has 'on-orbit space control weapons' capable of defending the joint force against hostile action. It marked the clearest public acknowledgement from a senior US official that American weapon systems are deployed in orbit.

Meink did not reveal what the systems are, how many exist or where they operate. Other reporting has noted that the term could cover capabilities designed to disrupt or disable hostile satellites without physically destroying them, although the exact technology remains undisclosed.

For now, Borland's claim about recovered craft remains an allegation from a former intelligence specialist, not an independently verified government admission. The orbital weapons disclosure, however, is official.

Together with the 40 pages confirmed in the Grusch case, the developments ensure that questions over secrecy, UAP records and advanced military technology remain firmly in the spotlight.
