Galaxy Note Fan Edition goes on sale
Samsung on Friday started the sales of its refurbished Galaxy Note 7 Samsung

As promised, Samsung has started selling the refurbished version of Galaxy Note 7. The device enters the market as the Fan Edition or Galaxy Note FE.

The Fan Edition, with all the features of the fire-prone phone Note 7, goes on sale in South Korea at 699,600 won ($606, £470). It is about 300,000 won less than the original Note 7, which was launched last year.

As the product page suggests South Korean carrier networks such as SKT, KT and LGU+ are selling the Note FE. Samsung has allocated 400,000 units for sale through these three carriers, reports Yonhap news.

The new model adopts a 3,200mAh battery, which Samsung claims has undergone 8-point stability test. It also features the S Pen, which offers several functions. The phone is, like other Galaxy handsets, IP68 certified which means it is waterproof and dustproof and can be immersed in 1.5m water for half an hour.

Apart from that, you should also feel the latest UX of the Galaxy S8 on the Note FE and also the Bixby voice assistant. But currently, you won't be able to experience all Bixby features except Home and Reminder.

Other features are same as the Note 7 including dual-pixels 12-megapixel rear camera and five-megapixel front camera, 4GB of RAM and support for micro SD card for storage expansion.
